Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) Go-Live at LRC

Titusville, Florida – June 21, 2011

As part of Netlander’s IT Project Management Services contract with NASA, they have completed their second Go-Live of the Agency-wide Electronic Health Records System. The first Go Live was at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, and this Go Live was at the Langley Research Center (LRC) in Virginia. This is number two in a series of fourteen Go Lives to be conducted as the system is rolled out in the next twenty-four months at NASA centers across the country. The process for a Go-Live consists of ensuring that a proper test strategy has been implemented, that operational support is in place, that the team has been trained, that funding and support contracts are in place for maintenance, and that the process for requirements, development, testing and deployment has been followed. “We are proud to be part of such an outstanding and successful undertaking”, said Tom Beever EHRS Project Manager, NetLander, Inc. He added, “The team is learning so much every day as we knock out the immense amount of work required to implement these types of systems”.
