Growing Brevard Company May Add IT Workers

The project management information technology company NetLander Inc., could hire at least five employees this year.

NetLander, which has 20 employees, works with NASA and other government agencies. The new hires would be information-technology specialists.

“We had pretty good growth last year,” said President Thomas Beever, who founded the company in 1998. “We’re being conservative when we say five new hires. We’re currently bidding on other contracts so the number might be more.”

The company also is accepting essay applications from high school an college students for the 6th annual Ed Beever Scholarship. The topic: Describe a plan for long-term sustained economic growth in the U.S. The three-page essays are due Feb. 28 and should be emailed to tbeever@netlander.com.
